🛡️ Safe2Say Something – Parent Information

At Wendover Middle School, the safety and well-being of our students is always our top priority. The Safe2Say Something (S2S) program is a confidential reporting system that allows students, parents, and community members to share urgent safety concerns anonymously through a website (https://www.safe2saypa.org/), app, or 24/7 hotline (1-844-SAF2SAY).

When to Use Safe2Say

Safe2Say should be used only for urgent safety concerns, including:

  • Threats of violence or self-harm
  • Possession of weapons at school or school events
  • Suspected drug/alcohol use or distribution on campus
  • Any situation where someone’s life, safety, or well-being is in immediate danger

When Not to Use Safe2Say

Safe2Say is not for routine school matters such as:

  • Homework or class questions
  • Attendance issues
  • Scheduling concerns
  • General complaints not related to safety
  • Student conflicts or disagreements that are not urgent safety concerns – these should be reported directly to the school principals, who will work with students and families to resolve the matter constructively.

For these matters, please reach out directly to your child’s teacher, school counselor, or the building principal(s).

Why This Matters

By using Safe2Say responsibly, families help ensure that true emergencies receive immediate attention and resources. This allows us to respond quickly, protect our students, and keep Wendover Middle School a safe and supportive place for everyone
